I’ve begun to find my way through the dank and foggy corridors. A stern look will scare most boogey men back into their shadows–but not all. (More on them later, once we get going full-steam.)

My clothes reek of sulpher and haltiosis when I get home every evening. Stale cigarette smoke seems like perfume in comparison. Only wish I hadn’t given up the habit now. So much smoke is getting blown my way, I could use some return ammunition.

Well, time to fix some supper. I look forward to telling you all about my adventures up here on Capitol Hill in the days to come.
